My blog goals for 2013 are probably more humble, or less business-minded than most, but I want to give you a heads-up for what I have been dreaming for the year.
First, I want my blog to be honoring to Lord. I hope that my words and pictures represent the beauty and greatness of almighty God. Although, nothing can surpass His glory, I certainly want to reflect it! As I feel led, I will share how I am growing, or even struggling, in my walk. I hope to share words of encouragement as well as challenging you too. And I will not challenge my readers to something unless I feel it is biblical and I am also willing to challenge myself in the same area. Part of having a blog involves sharing my heart and also being held accountable because my thoughts and words are out there. You can ask me how I am doing in a certain area!
Second, I will simply share some photographs that I have taken, and like, over the course of the year. At times, there may be little writing to go along with it. I just want someplace to document my growth and learning. Well, at least, I hope I get better!
Lastly, my family is a part of who I am. I am a wife, mom, sister and daughter and it is just my make up. I was just talking with another mom today about how motherhood has changed us - and for the better. You will not find specific posts on parenting, however I may express my joys as a wife and mom. I'll limit any frustrations out of respect for my husband and daughter. I don't want anyone to think that things are always rosy. Sometimes, life is tough, but I desire to respect their privacy as much as possible.
Some of you know that I used to have a blog called The Ease of Freeze. I still have a couple recipes yet to share, however it will not be a focus for me. Making a meal at 2:00 pm to get photos, pack it in the fridge and reheat later took the joy out of food blogging. That and some other fine details. I just say that to let you know that recipes will be few and far between.
So far it has been wonderful meeting a whole new group of people and I still love the friendships I have made in my previous blog. I'm humbled that you would even read my words and partake in my life and photography. I'm so thankful for many things and I hope you will free free to contact me with questions.
Sincerely,

love the simplicity!!
